Explanation of the Post
Some authors have linked critical pedagogy and Freire to Foucault, but all evidence show the opposite. Foucault’s power conception defended the depenalization of pederasty and rape, Freire’s proposal, and that of all pedagogy which is truly critical, is based on values which are opposed to all oppression. Critical pedagogy and Foucault are as opposed as democracy and Nazism or as sexual freedom and pederasty.
