Explanation of the Post

In many schools, the use of ICT is discussed as if it depended solely on teachers, but the reality is that the role of the management team is just as important. A recent article by Yang, Alias, and Mohd Nor (2025), published in the International Journal of Learning, Teaching and Educational Research, shows that when principals promote active technological leadership by training teachers, providing resources, and supporting change, the integration of ICT in the classroom improves significantly.

As a future teacher, it makes me think that it is not enough to know how to use technology; we need a school environment that values and promotes it in a coordinated way. Digital leadership in schools should be a priority, because it makes the difference between “using technology” and actually teaching with it.

Summary

El éxito en la integración de las TIC no depende únicamente del profesorado, sino también del compromiso del equipo directivo. Un liderazgo digital sólido favorece la innovación, la formación docente y el uso pedagógico de la tecnología en las aulas de Primaria.
