Explanation of the Post

Both studies explore the quality of life of people with hearing disabilities. Additionally, use quality of life measures to understand what impact will be made in different areas such as emotional, social and physical well-being, as well as school functioning and how this will affect their lives. It has been shown that people with hearing disabilities have a reduced quality of life, but this can be increased thanks to early implantation, while promoting family support, as well as integration into the educational community with the help of their peers without disability.
