Several studies have shown that memory is constantly being reconstructed with the interactions a person has. Research has also shown that when some girls who have had violent relationships engage in an egalitarian dialogue based on scientific evidence, their memory of those relationships transforms towards remembering them with more negative feelings and rejection.
