Explanation of the Post
17th of May is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
The eradication of violence in all its forms against these collectives is a desire shared by many. However, it is also true that no matter how hard we try, only evidence-based strategies to overcome violence will be effective. Initiatives that lack scientific evidence and are based on ideas often not only fail to achieve this goal, but are often even detrimental to these people.
Against homophobia and transphobia: positioning and strategies based on scientific evidence are key.
