Explanation of the Post
Scientific research has already evidenced the partners you choose for sexual-affective relationships, either casual or long term, do have different consequences in your life trajectory. For instance, choosing traditional dominant masculinities for hook-ups has negative consequences for both the girls and those who love them, even years after the event, when the desire has not been transformed (López de Aguileta et al., 2021). There is a lack of pleasure in these relationships that link attraction to violence that also prevent these from enjoying the relationships that they had always dreamed of (Torras-Gómez et al., 2020). Many girls who have not critically analyzed their memories have an exciting memory of disdainful hook-ups (Torras-Gómez et al., 2020; Ruiz-Eugenio et al., 2020).
Research also shows that women who do not hook up with traditional dominant masculinity men have pleasurable and egalitarian relationships (Torras-Gómez et al., 2020). Likewise, those who transform themselves and their desire linked to violence, also achieve the relationships they had always dreamed of (Torras-Gómez et al., 2020).
