COMMENT:

Nowadays, there is still a false belief that says that women are bad drivers. According to DGT (Dirección General de Tráfico) that is not true. We can confirm this fact due to the studies that were developed at UPM where a sample of 200.000 claims that occurred between 2004 and 2013 were analyzed. Their conclusions confirmed that men not only are involved in more car accidents but also tend to be more severe than the ones where women are involved. In all cases, males appear with a higher rate of infractions for speeding or improper speed.
