Given the controversy ober whether students should be given homeworks or tasks at school, various research that addresses related issues shows evidence that there is no correlation between school workload and academic achievement.

At best, it has been prove that the participation of the family has a negative influence in adolescent stages and creatong tensión.

Therefore, family concern about schoolwork has a negative impacto n both the academic and family enviroment.

In conclusión, it is necessary to consider the need to evaluate the amount of homework and it´s impacto n family life. More research should be carried out that relates the school workload and balance with family and academic achivement in adolescence.
