Scientific Evidence Platform Needs more evidence Are school racist about celebrating holidays of other cultures?

Every year we can see how in Spanish schools many parties are celebrated: Christmas, Halloween, Easter, etc., but events like Ramadan or Chinese New Year are rarely celebrated. It may seem normal that these festivities aren’t celebrated; they aren’t typical of the country or the Spanish culture. Still, we have considered that celebrating Halloween is not typical of Spain? Many children don’t feel represented in the celebration of these festivities. Is there racism in schools, and they aren’t inclusive of children from other cultures and religions? Or does celebrate Christmas or Easter in schools have no logic if they pretend to be secular?
